The Wraith of Allah

A mission on Zargabad where you play Takistan Insurgent  vs UN and US personal. You have to destroy some armour in a compound, kill a Dr and destroy some American aicraft at the airfield. The Town of Zargabad is swarming with enemy. We played this with abot 25 random players and it was great. The mission has revive and full briefing.

Python.au has made a retextured LAV-25 for Arma 2/OA.   This Re-skin is based off the BIS LAV-25 From Arma 2 - This requires Arma 2, but is perfect for Combined Operations in Takistan. Australia operates just over 200 LAV-25 otherwise know as ASLAVs.

SoldierX has informed the community in the AusArma Forums of thier updates in regards to Operation Arrowhead.

First release will be the updated weapons and infantry. We have got the IR lasers working on the weapons and have added in the F88Sa2 variations of the F88 and the 9mm Self loading Pistol. We are upading the infantry with the OA backpack proxy positions and FLIR maps. AEF has been kind enough to provide us with a Yoma addonsync host through platform networks. After this is done we will start adding vehicles and aircraft to the mod using the yoma repository provided by AEF and platform networks.

Christian.1987 released an updated version of his CH-47 Chinook Reskins on the BI forums. The desert texture is more consistent to Australian CH-47 camo schemes which could be of interest to some. The Australian Army operate 7 CH-47 Chinook helicopters.

A few wip shots of the ANZAC mod including some in Operation Arrowhead. Perhaps indicating a release date depending on how it will convert to OA. Latest work includes custom aircraft sounds by ANZACSAS Steve.
