Hi my name's Dinga and I'm an ArmAholic.

Made the switch from OFP to ArmA2 about 2 weeks ago, all I can say is omggfx. Arrowhead lags like eff though.

Lookin forward to doin some co-op missions with ppl, but most of the servers seem to be running Warfare, Sector control or Domination atm. :(

If your looking old OFP MP style missions, ie actual COOP other than the generics, join up to a squad or just get on the AusArmA TS3 and slut yourself around. Its well worth it.

regards,

Romm

Yea I can vouche for that. What actually got us to make the switch was seeing the videos on youtube of you guys doin Co-op missions, particularly the Zombie one. Tactics and undead shenanigans = awesome!

Hardly any zombie missions on the net though :(.

WELL i've certainly made a good impression...missed the right thread on day 1...

Anyways, been playing AMRA 2 for a while now, even though i have one of the worst set ups for it, but i can still play it to a reasonable degree of playability. Was looking for an Aussie ARMA community to connect with (after HSC of course) to play online, since for the un-initiated the server list is very confusing, so i found myself here.

Love the AAW mods to death (as everyone should XD), hate Codemasters (and most who proclaim DR to be the greatest thing since swiss cheese) not only for DR, but for their mincemeat of a pre-eminent F1 game....in other words i could rant on forever about it. Hate Stephen Conroy...period, but unless Labour get a Howard majority, they will never get it through. Libs may not be popular, but at least they have common sense regarding this censorship BS (they "claimed" they would not let it through, better than nothing i suppose)

Anyways, hopefully by next year i can get myself a decent graphics card (i have no money :( ) and play AMRA 2 the way it was meant to be played...salivating at the visuals XD. Hope to see some of you online!

Went on the TS...didn't actually know what to do when i was there though...
